NPR: Science Friday

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Once a science geek always a science geek.  As such, I tend to prefer podcasts that have to do with technology, medicine, astronomy, the environment etc., and the folks at NPR produce a  great one. NPR Science Friday puts out a series of episodes discussing news from subjects under the science umbrella. Recent topics include the latest in HIV research, treatments for blindness, and the average US citizen’s carbon footprint. The podcast’s production is top-notch, and discussions usually involve a panel of experts or talks with scientists in the field. Anyone that wants to keep up with the latest science trends should tune in every Friday.
