Hot for Words
Ok, here’s something interesting. Possibly the most bookwormy subject you could dig up: etymology. Possibly the hottest host you could dig up: Marina Orlova. Package them together in an RSS feed and you have one of the most brilliant uses for podcasting ever invented. Man or woman, you will not be able to look away while this eastern European beauty tells you in her own ultra-flirtatious way, how words and phrases like “the birds and the bees” or “horny” came from. I dare you to watch just one episode… She’s like a Lay’s potatoe chip, you can’t stop at one no matter how hard you try.

@John - I think the “hooked” might actually come from old England where thieves used hooks to steal things out of windows.. I mention it in my “hooker” video
@Billy - I keep my sister locked in the basement… she’s TOO MUCH competition for me
@The Writer of this bit! LOVE the way you spelled potato(e)… are you related to Dan Quayle ?
(Just giving you a hard time.. I spell things wrong ALL DAY LONG!!!) Thanks for the wonderful post though!
